Jude Higdon, Ed.D.

My name is Jude Higdon. I work at the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts Office of Information Technology as the Instructional Technology Support Team Coordinator, which means that I manage a team of instructional designers who help the faculty of the College in integrating technology into their teaching.

I live in St. Paul, MN with my husband, Chad Topaz, who is a math professor at Macalester College. Chad and I have been together since 1996.

Armed with a doctorate in Educational Psychology from the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California, an Ed.M. in Technology in Education from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and an undergrad degree in African Politics (which of these things is not like the other?) from Northwestern University, I've been working in the field of technology-enhanced learning since 1997.
